I was sort of a fan in season 1, but when i saw desmond in the hatch and found out about Dharma i was instantly an unabashed fanboy and have been ever since. i dont care if 20 million people think the show sucks; to me, it is the greatest television show ever made. ever. i will be very sad and happy when it ends.

so, uh, i didnt know that a lot ableton live fans were also lost fans ... cheers :)

Hells yeah!

And Locke is by far my favorite. The first episode that focused on him, the one where he starts walking right after the crash is what got me hooked.

I liked X-Files but there was a lot of very, very crap episodes. Strangely, its the comedy style episodes that I remember and like the best - the one where they make a Hollywood movie about them was a classic. Plus the X-Files films are beyond shit.

X files were at their best when they were mostly episodic. Monster-of-the-week FTW.

the mythology was kind of crap, i think thats why the first movie kind of sucked. the second one, becaue its already a dead horse.

Any of you guys used to watch Firefly? I've actually NEVER seen it, but several friends tell me it's amazing. Got it on my Netflix list - coming soon.

@Neb: Yeah, The Shield. Whoa. Crazy great show. I can't remember ever seeing a bad episode. Same with SFU. Not a bad one in the bunch.

Any of you guys Stephen King readers? There's quite a few parallels with Lost and his Dark Tower series. JJ Abrams acknowledged that he was a big King fan, and that The Dark Tower was a big influence.

Firefly is amazing. Watch all 12 episodes, and then the film Serenity. It's 14 great hours very well spent!!

Firefly is awesome, I came late to that party, and was really bummed when I heard it had already been cancelled.

Ok, enough of this geekfest. (We) You're all a bunch of D&D mother fuckers.

I'm now doing pushups, buying a convertible, and getting a trophy ho half my age.

whidmore is faraday's pops, his mom is the lady in the church/holding the gun on faraday by the bomb. i'm pretty sure richard went to see locke, when he was a child, in one of the locke-centric episodes from s.2., so it was pretty cool they tied that all back together. loving this season so far :)

fuck y'all hero haters

NO D&D here. Not sure how I avoided that, but I kinda pride myself on the fact that I did, heh.

Oh. Forgot about Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Whoa. Talk about a show that went from just okay to pretty great. Another great bit of writing on that show - diving full on into the mythology. Now, if only the new flick is going to be as good. 8O

Did it get good? I gave up on it this year, along with Heroes and Prison Break. Glad to hear it didn't lose steam.

Yeah. It's a show that keeps building. This season's been great. Funny, cause I bailed after the 2nd show of the 1st season. Suddenly a friend asked me if I was watching, and that it's pulled itself up. I said 'hell no', then had to catch up, lol.
