Problem between Ableton Live 7 & minimonsta (automation

Hello,

I've a problem in doing the automation of the vst Gforce minimonsta in Ableton Live 7


I'm going to try to explain this problem clearly:


P.S: I've got my midi set up all good in Live. Minimoog, fm8 (.fxb) etc... works perfectly.


1. I open the minimonsta.

2. I Select a sound via the minimonsta plug in
( I can't select the sound using the live vst window cause it cannot load the ".mmm".)

3. I register some notes in a midi clip.

4. I play this clip in the sequencer.


Till there, all is ok.


5. I click "Record" on live ableton and move the cut off button (up & down) with the mouse.

6. Live ableton memorise those moves (drawing automation)

7. However, when I play the clip, the minimonsta doesn't react to my automation.

It's strange because I see the automation of the cut off on live ableton windows (open with ">" : Cut off) moving,
but the minimonsta doesn't react (the button cut off of the vst minimonsta plugin doesn't move)


Is there any solution?

Hi steamed2000,

could it be you touch the automated parameter after the recording stopped? This leads to the Back-To-Arrangement button lighting up red. Click the button: does the automation play back as expected thereafter?

I've done that, but it still unfortunatly doesn't work

P.S: all my other vst (fm8, minimoog) works perfectly, that's strange...

prehaps it's because of the preset of the minimonsta that are ".mmm" and not ".fxb"

Same problem for me.

When I load the minimonsta in an Instrument Rack and tweak the plug's knob, the corresponding device in Live responds and can be mapped to a Macro Control. But when I tweak this Macro Control in Live, the device moves whithout affecting the MM.
Parameters informations seems to work from MM to Live only, not the inverse.
