OT: LOST

I reckon Jacob is Locke - stuck travelling in time.

So then of course he would have been into the future and back to the past and has orchestrated all these events. To really mess with your mind - We just saw him send Richard to go find him in 2 years time when he is born... so he has in fact just set in motion the chain of events leading to him being on the island in the first place. So it’s like its one big giant loop... think of this : If Richard gave the compass to locke to give back to richard (who will then give it back to locke)… then where did the compass come from?

So some thoughts:

Miles the oriental guy will be revealed to be the oriental guy we’ve been seeing on the orientations videos?

Chances are we find out Daniels father is Charles Widmore and that girl Elle (Eloise I think the grey haired woman is called , also the name of Daniesls pet Rat!) is his mum? Which would mean he was related to Penny and tieing him right back to Desmond.

The casket at the beginning of season 1 Wasn't Christians... it was Johns.

Any theories about why babies don't survive if conceived on the island? Could it be the time travel being bad for their hemorrhaging brains?

Also, if the nose bleeds are related to length of time on the island, then how can people like Ben have survived there for so long?

Can you be born if you havent been conceived yet?

I think Aron is the next leader (born on the Island), so they are trying to get him back to the Island to groom him for leadership (Kate doesn't want to go back to the Island or bring Aron back)....

The 'oriental' guy actually has a name. It's Miles Straume. I mean, we can keep calling him the 'oriental guy', that's cool. It has a nice ring to it. Kinda like 'that darky' or 'that redskin'.

Anyhoo, here's hoping they dive into Miles' ability to get vibes from the dead. Maybe the dead leave electromagnetic energy, and he was exposed to something or other when he was an oriental baby?

Come one man, would it be more politically correct if we said "Asian Guy"? Actually I would probably say it's more like saying "the white guy" or the "the black guy" - nothing wrong with that in my eyes.

There was absolutely no negative connotations meant by those comments - at least that's how I read it. If it offended you, I can appreciate that, but I personally disagree with your statement above.

Anyways, back to the LOST discussion. I want to see more about the Dharma stations (I'm thinking there has to be more). Actually weren't they talking about "The Arrow" which was a defense station (kinda of like the pearl)?!

I said oriental because i'm not sure of his origin... if i said chinese and he was actually korean then someone would have picked me up on that. NO offense meant to anyone

Actually maybe i should have said the american guy and that would have really confused everyone.
