display 50% to 99 %

Post by marekhunhap » Thu Feb 05, 2009 1:11 pm

hello,

100% to 200% : ok
but my interest is to have more space, so under 100%.
Between 50% to 99% I can't work, my screen is blur and it's very inconfortable.

have you the same problem ?
Where is the problem, live ? my graphic shit card (macbook) ?

its always anti-aliased if that's what you mean by blurry. also with the zoom set to something 'blurry', try setting your monitor to a different resolution and see if that changes anything. i'm on macbook too and it looks as expected.

edit: alias changed to anti-alias

yeah, that's normal anti-aliasing. afaik unavoidable with the way live handles its graphic assets.

yes, but I also looked at it on my macbook and my mac mini with horrible 6 year old screen. But, perhaps you're right and it's a macbook issue.

marek, what you've shown with the screencaps isn't a problem, that's pretty standard anti-aliasing behavior. as i understand it, you seem to want the text to be aliased to the appropriate viewing size and i'm pretty sure that's impossible with the way live handles graphics. the mac os has text smoothing options (system preferences --> appearance), but these won't effect live's text.
