HAHA!
"A serious case of laptop burn was reported in a letter published in a medical journal two years ago after a 50-year-old man burned his penis while using a laptop balanced on his legs for an hour, despite wearing trousers and underpants."

I'm speechless. Especially about this man's pain threshold! And his computer! Speechless.

What really amazes me is that his *penis* got burnt, not his thighs. Is your penis ever actually IN CONTACT with the computer? Mine sure isn't!

maybe he was using his penis to elevate the laptop.... as to not burn his thighs.

this has to be a "Darwin Award".

have you not been following the trends of maket speak? they are no longer referred to as 'laptops' but 'notebook computers' - no doubt some kind of legal corporate pre-emptive strike in anticipation of the likes of ol Mr Dick Burns here

they say it's the heat that does you in, but i always thought that the electromagnetic radiation so close to your berries would be much more harmful.

Should I get a USB or firewire scrotal thermometer for my laptop?

USB....
because there's just something wrong about the words FIREwire and Scrotal being used so close together.

yea lets see... metal enclosure on a laptop (like powerbooks) = heat retention. The operating temperature of the G4 cpu is low, but the heat isn't displaced, it just radiates right through the casing. especially like my G4 12" did.

cheaper than having your tubes tied though.
