Automating in arrange window-how to set vertical resolution?

Here's the scenario

I have the Resonator plugin installed on a track.

"Pitch II" is set to 0.

I want to set up an automation for Pitch II to alternate between 0, +5, +7 over the course of a few bars. (Two bars on 0, one on 5, one on 7, for example.)

When I go to draw this in in the arrangement window, I can only move the envelope up or down 3 steps.

I tried to "play" the automation using an external controller, and it was very difficult, obviously, to hit 5 and 7 each time correctly. Even when I did, when I went to the envelope, it still maxxed out at +3 instead of the +5 and +7 that I had "played." Upon playback, it did play back at 5 and 7, however.

But that's not the point...the Pitch II paramater goes from -24 to +24...shouldn't I be able to draw in any range I want to with the pencil tool in the arrangement window? +/-3 degrees of varation on paramater with +/- 24 degrees of "tweak" just doesn't seem right.

Hm, I got an +/- 24 when expanding dragging the vertical devision up between the clip view and session clips.
You know you can drag the interval up or down when grabbing the grey area where the numbers are? (I arrangement, opening the track, I
cant get it up to show +24 but it above +12)
