Hiss/Noise generated when BUS-ing

Post by Johnny Beat » Thu Feb 12, 2009 2:44 pm

Hey people. I get a strange hiss when using BUS-es... Even Spectrum shows sound activity when a BUS is on, nothing playing through it, just routed.

Why does this happen?

Thanks,
Jason.

PS And it's always been like that.

Hi,

does that happen with a fresh set?

-> press CTRL + n to create one and to check it out.

If the problem persists, contact the support team, send the problematic set(s) and send infos according to our support site:

Actually no signals need t obe routed through the channel that is toggled to IN.
Just asked a friend to try that out, since LIVE is on my internetless PC, and he gets the same noise.

I'll try to send the set ASAP.

GREAT!

I felt a bit arrogant to suggest that but I ran into that before and also didn't think about deactivating the input for a bus track
