decoding cache problem-please help me!
okay, so i have a rather large template project that i use for djing with live. basically, i have my songs arranged by key in 12 different channels, and 4 channels i use as my ''decks''. you get the idea. i recently purchased a bunch of new music, and i'm dropping the tracks into one of the ''deck'' channels, keying them, and moving them to their appropriate key channel. but now i'm frequently getting messages saying i don't have enough space in my decoding cache, at which point a bunch of samples will go offline. i can save my project, reopen it, and everything will be fine, but that's kind of a pain in the ass. is there any way i can fix this problem?

Not sure why its is doing this. How many songs are in the set?
But there is a simple solution - convert the tracks to WAV then it won't need the decoding cache. You should be able to copy them from the decoding cache to where the original is stored, then I think you just need to rename the song and asd to match.

Indeed - I just drag the .wav out of the decoing cache into the folder where the .mp3 is. There's usually no need to rename the .wav as it should be called the same as the .mp3, but you will need to rename the .asd files (just change the extension to .wav.asd instead of .mp3.asd)jonny72 wrote:Not sure why its is doing this. Edit: If this seems like a lot of work (for a big set, it is!) it's also worth considering that 20Gb might not be enough... I have a set with around 200 complete techno tunes in it and the .wavs for that take up around 15Gb.
