I’d like to see a video where the rapper is shot (filmed that is) from about knee height swaggering back and forward and waving his bejewelled hand at the camera to emphasise his lyrics (like money, bitches, being from the hood, getting shot, cool stuff like that). In the background maybe you could have a good view of his wheels (a Merc or a Bentley or something) and some scantily clad honeys shaking booty.

That would be awesome.

Edit: Shit! Why did I tell you guys, when I could have taken my idea to a major record label?

Silent movie style wapping. . .

Charlie Waplin :)

I'd like to see more Scousers and Glaswegians start rapping, more Goldie Looking Chain, less LA or where ever these pituary retards that pop up on the screens when i am in the gym come from.

A crew from each major UK connurbation with a silly accent battling it out. .

That would be wicked.

I wish the Americans would put a Donk in it. . .

It's the irresponsible and materialistic decay of our society (especially the US) that's contributing to making it the laughing stock of the planet and dragging us further into the gutter and down the road to further economic and social ruin.

Decent, responsible lyrics and artists that are positive role models to kids? Now THAT would be innovative...
it would also be boring and preachy

It doesn't have to be boring. Maybe a little preachy though for some people, but if a market can be created for something that would inspire people to do better than I'm all for it.

I think though better topics in general. Sticky Fingaz is one of my favorite lyricists (even though he tends to be pretty vulgar for some people), because he chooses good topics and have good song concepts. Even when he is in is gangsta mode, he kind of takes a comical approach to the whole situation and in a sense I feels his songs have a message because he tends to gives the message that you really don't want to do the things he are doing in his rhymes unless you are a crazy sick individual.

Tarnce hop!

Close the thread. . .

Actually I am surprised one of those f*ckers haven't sampled one of those Tarnce f*ckers :) I.e. that little fella with the sunglasses that samples daft punk or justice or whatever, he should sample Ferry Corsten or PVD, that would be a megalithic meeting of talents!

I also reckon there should be more side chain in hip hop.

Actually f*ck it, I have got a great idea of a band,

Goldie Looking Side Chain - Obviously the main genre should be Tarnce Hop but there could be other musical excursions as well. .

Nah I was referring to Kanye West (the little fella in the glasses).

He should side chain more though. .
