will mini laptop run ableton?

i do an hour train commute each way to work every day which i usually spend with my nose in the abe manual or looking out the window. i could easily use this tiime working in live but i don't want to chance taking my macbook into work as there's no place to safely leave a laptop.......will any of the cheap mini laptops have enough cpu to run live? i only want to experiment and toss basic ideas around so not worried about sound quality or stacking big device chains etc.....suggestions please....

i dont see why one of those little accers wouldent if your just wanting to do basic things ive thought about it myself.

what are the specs?

those really tiny things with Atom processors and no hard drives will obviously not suffice.

No, that won't do it - Intel Atom processor and running Linux.

Fine for a bit of casual web surfing and email and minor office work but that's about it.
