Help : Stutter Effect - Volume keeps dropping

In need some help on this problem as it is driving me up the wall. Just bought a Trigger Finger and used an audio sample sliced-to-midi in order to play it through the TF. i would like to use the stutter effect that is preset (when using the option "chord and stutter" on the slice to midi window) however when I use it the first strike/sound is normal volume however the stuttering drops the volume to a third of it's orginal volume. So it is loud on the first beat but the rest are faint. i would expect the stuttering volume to stay at the same level as the orginal sound without the effect.

I have searched everywhere on the effects for th sample (arp, chord, not etc) but i cannot find the setting which seems to be drastically dropping the volume. It isn't the TF as I have played the sample using the mouse on Ableton directly.

Any help on this would be appreciated.....
