not a bad idea, whats a bio energy farm? never heard of it, but I like science and the enviroment.

Did you catch the President, Vice President, and the Governor of Colorado on TV today?

President Obama signed, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, in Denver early this afternoon. Before he signed the bill, Colorado's Gov, and some CEO of a solar company, said some interesting things about Colorado being at the center of a new energy economy.

Anyways...

Just a though....

I know a lot of people jumping into to the RV for extended vacations right now...

I never sit in traffic and everything I need is within walking distance.

thats sounding pretty good right now, expensive but good.

Move to Buenos Aires, Argentina.

You'll find an argentinian girl that will take care of you financially.
And you just stay home fooling around with your music.

GOOD LUCK, bro.

Don't be afraid.
I came to America in 2001. With USD 850 in my pocket, and no green card.
No good english, no friends, no contacts, no gear, no nothing.

If i survived those conditions, i'm sure a guy like you will do just fine!!

j/k but it's fun to pretend. ;)

it's a sign, god wants you to leave Martinez.

this would take some time effort and money on his part.
he would have to file with the courts, (which costs money)
and then the eviction process starts.
on average it takes at least a month to get everything settled.

at least that's how it is where i live.
it was hard for me to get rid of a destructive renter in the past.

best of luck
I don't know....

If he's not on the lease, I think the guy can just move all his shit to the front lawn or call the cops and have him removed.

I don't think there would need to be a formal eviction, he's just some guy who was being allowed to live there and now he's not.

If he's actually on the lease, can't he just say "fuck you, I'm stasying you can leave"? Unless of course the roomie is the actual owner.

It depends on your city, but in most in the US, you have a surprising amount of rights renting without a lease. I know this because I got evicted from a house which I never signed a lease on (in Minneapolis). As soon as you start paying rent, you get a fair amount of rights. Requirement of 30 days notice is one.

Nooo - much much easier thing to do - on the way out for the last time, just break the end of the key off in the lock and us e the rest of the key to push it right in - just as effective :)

this seems true, and yes its the Diamond, beautiful place, truly beautiful.

as for everyone else's suggestions, I say thank you, your vengeance technique is thoroughly impressive.

Here's where I'm at.

I have a month to month signed lease, even without one California requires 30 days notice.

However, being that he already verbally evicted me, and in only 48 hours has already started moving this other guy stuff into the house, including 3 separate 200 gallon aquariums they were setting up until 6 this morning  I really do not want to stay here any longer than absolutely necessary.

I have been told, (I'm going to see a lawyer on Monday to verify), that I can file a wrongful eviction claim against them after I move out(he and his fathers/mothers names are all on the mortgage together), but not if I stay the full 30 days, if I just bite the bullet and go on the 28th I allegedly can make them pay me for some moving expenses as well as have them "marked" with the state rental board!

being that he said yes to the initial 60 day notice and then went and spoke with his father about going behind my back, a full week before he talked to me, he actually told me that he and his dad sat down and planned it out this way at his dads request and instruction, I might have a civil suit for harassment. maybe even conspiracy to commit harassment, they spent a week planning this and actually told me that, not very bright.

the fact that he spoke about this to other people in our friends group who can verify that I did indeed give notice for 60 days on Feb 1st., and he did in fact say "yes" to that agreement, gives me some testimony on my side, multiple people.

I'm gonna bolt out as fast as I can and come back with one of those attorney's who you see advertised on late night TV, "if you don't win, then you don't pay" I will make sure it costs him at least $10,000.00 in legal proceedings before I make them pay or just lose and cost them the attorney's fee's.

seeing their wallets shrink everyday in court would be the best revenge possible, especially if some of it comes back to me for my trouble :D

I do think I've got a solid harassment case based on the fact that they spent a week planning this backstab, and actually told me that, "me and my dad talked all week to decide what we're gonna to with you". it was kinda creepy thining about this guy and his dad planning this on me, I mean seriously WTF!!!

this is true in California, once you pay rent, who are a renter by definition, with or without a lease.

just walk away. you're headed into waaaay more drama than you've already got. smear his name to all your friends, appeal to his parents, maybe his mom is sensible. don't appeal to get back in, appeal to her that her husband and son are d0uches, hell, you could probably get some money from her to put you up in a hotel for a while or help with your short term expenses that you have all of a sudden.

you should post their phone numbers here, let US talk to them. ;)
