I'm just wondering how the newer Macbooks run Live. I'm picking one up on Wednesday; anybody have any problems - even with a stock model?
I'm excited as Live is completely new territory for me. I've been a stalwart Cubase for Mac user since 2002 and the switch has been a long time coming. I'm also interested to see how it will handle the Virus TI Desktop.
Any input would be cool, and hello everyone in Ableton land!
Anyone using a newer Macbook?

cheers!
um... just how many synths are you loading up? and what are the synths you're using?
...very interested in MacBook Pro performance wise with Live.
Well, Live 7 works extremely well for me on my current MBP, and it's a first-gen. I wouldn't expect any less from a newer model.
The Live 8 beta feels kind of sluggish though.
It'll be time to upgrade to a new mac soon anyways. I'd been considering getting an iMac instead of a new MBP, but after much consideration, I'm thinking the MBP works better for me. I'll probably wait for the next update. Watching macrumors for that one.
