:cry: :arrow: Hey Yall!
I'm using some old kit i've been given that i'm strugling to work!!
amd 2ghz pc / 1gig ram
windows xp home ed.
I'm currently using Ableton-7 & i was lucky to be given a PCR-1(ederol) midi keyboard, i read lots of good thing about it, just cannot get ableton to recognize it!!!!
Ive seen it working in logic so i know it works.
Any ideas what i'm doing wrong????
Or any links to do with Ableton/PCR-1 would be welcome.

hi,

does it show up in the preferences->midi/sync->midi ports?
If it does, is the "track" button for the input port activated?

no, it does'nt show up in the preferences->midi/sync->midi ports.
I've tried re-installing twice now but it still will not show.
any ideas?????

Download the latest drivers for the PCR from the edirol website and install them.

If a midi device does not show up in the preferences->midi/sync then it is most likely a driver problem...
