OK, this is my first post here! Woo hoo! Fanfare, etc.
Now on to the question:
I have my MIDI keyboard (Nintendo Magic) to control Battery 2 and I can record to the track, etc.
Here is my question: The "route key" in Battery corresponds to the octaves and notes on my keyboard: C1 D1 E1 F1 G1 A2 B2 C2 ... But the MIDI track after I record is set up with only C's, in other words it goes from C-2 to C9.
What I would liike to do is have the MIDI display in Ableton mimic the octaves available on my keyboard. So I can go in with my pen tool and add a few notes to D1 or E3 for example.
Hopefully this makes sense to someone out there.
Thanks in advance to any replies. Hopefully, this isn't sommething super-obvious that I don't know how to do... I am very new to Ableton after all.
Cheers.
Battery 2 with MIDI keyboard. Need help with improving.

Battery 2 with MIDI keyboard.
Hi blue_aidoru,
for me it's the other way round: Battery 2 is new terrain for me while Live is home turf. Seems you can play Battery as VST within Live from your keyboard - I've to admit I can't get that working! How do you do the obvious that's beyond my ken?!
Cheers.
