Sounds good! Nice washes. I'm intrigued with your vocals comment. I'd like to hear it completed.

I know what you mean about vocals. I don't really like my voice either, so I get by with a vocoder. That might be a good thing to try if you're not confident. If you're using live 8 (are you using a beta? I didn't think it was released yet) it's got one, although I don't know how good it is. I'm using free software and it works good enough for me.

I gave break away a listen. If you don't mind my asking, did you do anything special to get that really clear, deep bass? Did you use a live instrument for it? Not that I want to copy, but I sometimes feel like my bass could sound a bit beefier.

Hey man,

Really good writing on this. Love the synth sounds and the arrangement (something I am really working on).

The little bits of vocals I do hear are good, would love to hear the rest.

My bit of criticism would be in the drum sounds. Not sure the original source, but they sound a little dry, flat on the high end. Something about them isn't as polished as everything else in the song. Maybe some eqing on the high end or a saturator would make it more appealing to me. Just my $0.02 - others may feel differently.

Great song man!

The high pitched ping-ponging sound is completely out of tune -- conscious decision? Other than that an okay groove, but would like to hear a finished mix/master every time in the forum, personally.

as posted on another forum

this synthy style you have is certainly all your own - and i think its great that you defo have got a unique style to what iv heard

Reminds me of the menu music from addidas power soccer on ps1 which i think was a tune my leftfield

not wat i would normally choose to listen to but easy to listen to once i start!

good work

this is really good. id look forward to a finished article. its a bit short. id like to hear it spread out into a cool soundscape. starts quik and ends quik. there is definatly enough good material to double it in length.

i dont hear anything being out of tune but im colour blind.

8)

That's a great pop-y track Rave! I get a bit of a Junior Boys vibe off it even tho the beats aren't really the same. Would love to hear this with vox.

Hi Rave, sounds good so far. Personally I´d take other drums for this project, more off beat, less thumping bass kick. Really like the synth sounds.

Just to let you know 'RAVE' your track 'Lil Emotional' Is a 'Lil bit shit'.

The others are very good though, They would go down well on a Cafe Del Mar album. I will download them at some point.

Don't worry about thanking me for being kind to you though, I'm not a glory hunter.

If you don't like the song don't be a jerk, offer some constructive criticism.
