A side note. If anyone can name the genre it belongs to I'd love to know. Cause after the first 32bars, it aint techno.

my wife said i should "tone it down" but my laptop doesnt come with a tone it down button.

Breakbeat Industrial, perhaps? Once the synths kick in I'd prefer that the kick and bass lose the distortion because the two together dominate the track in an unrelenting fashion, making you look at the track length of 7 minutes wondering if your ears can tough it out (I stopped at 3:30).

on the face of it, a bad review,

but unrelenting. your god damm right. Like I say my laptop only comes with a tone it up button.

Sounds pretty interesting to me.
I think you should dirty up the HH and perc a bit though with some distortion to fit with the kick a bit more.
Plus increase the BPM
