I found that you had to wait for the waveform's graphic to render in the display before it would play, OR hit the RAW button and it will play right away.

Tried the Raw option and let it render but it still occurs.

happening to me aswell

if i want to quickly preview short samples i have to click twice many times, even with RAW on
