Right now i run Ableton on my tower PC with XP and was going to install LIVE on my HP Pavillion dv6000 2.5ghz AMD Dual Core 2 gigs ram. My main question would be does Ableton run in the backround? I have one profile on the laptop stripped down for performance and the priority being the backround. This is the same profile i use for Serato.
I also run it on a macbook so the PC laptop is a back up or used for a second CPU when me and my boy jam.
