well, i first said 'no'. but that was before the beat kicked off.
so i guess my problem was the intro. it's a bit too off..... your beat and the talking head's one. its actually not just a little off, it's exactly kick/snare off , i think. you should probably place it 1/4 bar back or forward to make it more in sync.
then in some point it has this mashup feel where stuff dont quite sit together, the bass is all over the place, not tuned to anything, but still rocking in a strange way. so imo if you tighten up things, clean up unnecessary action, you will get it right. seems like the components are there.
and if you're listening to me at all, you're crazy anyway

came across this in a search.

when you stutter a beat the ONLY thing that matters is that you exit the stutter and drop the '1' on the '1' and drop it TIGHT. I listened to the opening minute or so of this and you're late on every stutter release. dancing helps, so does simple counting out 1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 3, 4.

harsh criticism, props to all music makers. hth

the song doesnt start bangin for the first 2 and a half minutes. the beginning is supposed to be choppy and unpredictable then it goes all electro on your ass. its a segue song for my band. and its played live so its kind of a cover thing.

either way, my point is just fast forward it like two minutes.

reign it in. you can clearly play Beat Repeat like an instrument and drop the chaos, but do it too much and people just hear someone f-ing with an effect. let the song play, don't mess with it so much. come to think of it, the beat repeat was a distraction from the other elements you added. the breaks in that song are perfect spots to get freaky with effects, other than that, keep it simple, the vocals in that song are already freaky, less is more.

hth not trying to be harsh, play it how you like it.

drumrak,

The track rocks. I dig the chaos. It is all opinions here but this is the type of stuff I like.

Keep rockin'.
