monophonic after touch assign issues, help?

I recently modified a dj mixer of mine with some doepfer boards. Regardless here's my issue...

There are 4 potentiometers on the doepfer board. They send the following midi data:

1. pitch bend
2. modulation (MIDI controller #1)
3. volume (MIDI controller #7)
4. monophonic after touch


My issue is that ableton live doesn't allow me to map #4 (monophonic after touch) to anything.

I'm guessing this is something to control the loudness of the other contacts (keys) being pressed?


So I'm reaching out to the community of any idea to get this assignable. I don't mind running back ground software to convert the midi data into useable CC data if that's my only option.

Any suggestions and help is appreciated.
