[stb] L8.0b15 - File preview only warps on second play

If I preview a file in the preview tab with Raw switched off, the first time it plays it unwarped. If I wait until the full waveform has loaded and then click Raw on, then it continues playing at the unwarped speed. Now if I click Raw off again, only then will it play the file warped to the global tempo.

This behaviour is reproducible with all my mp3 and m4a files and the behaviour resets each time I try previewing a different file.

Edit: note that if I adjust the global tempo when the file is being previewed for the first time, then the preview does start playing warped and tracks the global tempo.

Edit2: also if I press the global play button while the file is still being loaded then preview playback stops and selecting the file again results in warped playback even if the file still hasn't fully loaded - though this latter effect is inconsistent.

Hi,

That's the confusion: even with transport stopped, but Raw OFF, the clip previews warped, but at its original tempo. Adjusting the transport tempo then makes the clip preview at that tempo, which is a side effect of many other things, and may not change yet.

Ok, thanks for the explanation. I find this behaviour a bit confusing as the global play is still stopped during all of this. Maybe more info in the manual would be a good idea to minimise stupid questions like mine...
