[5048] B16 Stuck on connect. trying to download sh. content

Clicked to download a set and it opened Live 8 b16.

Put in my name & pw, and now the "Connecting..." dialog has been going forever.

I try to quit Live but it stays up. Live is responsive, but no way to quit without force quitting.

Hapened to me the very first time too but I forced quit and it ran smooth (and fast) from then on.

Hi Kodama,

there seems to be an issue when starting Live for downloading and not being authorized. To avoid this for now try to start Live explicitely, open the preferences, and change to the "User Account Licenses" page. You can log in with you account name and password at the bottom of the page. Once logged in the freeze should not happen.

I had exactly the same problem as Kodama describes, but after force-quitting, restarting Live, I checked my preferences to see that I was already logged in.

However, second time around, with Live already running, it worked ok...

Absolutely. You have to have Live running and the dl goes fine. If the browser launches Live, on my machine, the dl won't work..

This issue should be fixed meanwhile. Please re-check with the most recent beta, Live 8.0b20.
