[amo] typing controls while adjusting device on/off

1. Set up a clip envelope to turn a device on and off sequentially.
2. Click on the value and try to type a new one, while the device turns itself on and off. (don't press return)
3. The control resets itself to its original number, and you need to click elsewhere on the screen to de-select it and start again.

This also happens in version 7.0.14. But it's still a bug because it's still annoying!
It also occurs if you switch it off by other means (mouse, MIDI control or automation envelopes) and also happens when it is being switched on/off by macro control.

If you are moving the control with the mouse or a MIDI controller, this doesn't happen.

Hi,

I move the thread away as this is not technically a bug. One could wish to be able to input values while the device is turned On and OFF, I'll keep it on my list, but can't promise on anything. For now, just stop the transport to edit values of such an automated device.
