Automation cancellation problems

when i automate anything, say like the track volume. i make my points, make an inclined or declined line to rise or lower the volume. but if i turn up the track volume up or down after that, the automation goes gray and is no longer in affect. the lines are still there but they do nothing and i can't fix it. how do i make the automation go back or just work again for that track?

welcome to the forum. Simply click the 'back to arrangement' button in Live´s title bar. Please refer to the Live user manual (chapter 17.3) for further details.
