Does anyone know if there is a quality difference between resampling (either an individual track or the whole song) and rendering it?
thanks,
jeff b.
is resampling as good of quality as rendering...

resampling is set to whatever is in your preferences, ie 16bit/44.1k etc. so to answer your question, yes.

in most cases yes.
but you can render stuff fine that your cpu can't process live anymore, so in those cases render is better than resampling.
And when random stuff is going on (beatrepeat, midi random etc.) your render will sound different than what you heard before. in those cases resampling is better, especially if you do stuff live and you do react on stuff that beatrepeat does for example.
