wtf bug of the day:
so i cropped a clip (via contextual menu of the clip in arrange view). as it was redrawing the new waveform, i context clicked in the clip view's file name and selected 'manage sample file'. in the file manager i clicked the 'edit' button, sample went offline and i clicked it again. at this point the waveform redraw was incomplete and stopped analyzing, and i could grab the end of the clip and drag it infinitely...i mean it would just keep dragging and dragging to hours in length with the waveform view just being a straight line. i saved, quit and reopened and the file re-analyzed, placed a bunch of warp markers that weren't there when i saved/closed, and the drag-the-clip-end-infinitely bug persisted. closed the beta. dropped the clip into live 7 and it behaved correctly, including being cropped correctly. opened again in beta 14 and the clip re-analyzed and set all brand new and equally f'ed up warp markers but lost the infinite drag issue. so yeah, wtf?
i can't help but think this is related to the same warping issues i've been having with beta 13 and 14:
