[4921] High CPU usage with crossfader

i'm having the same issue with abletons crossfader on a MBP 0s x 10.5.6 and on a p4 3ghz 3gig ram pc running win xp sp3

load a blank live set
move the crossfader back and forth and watch the cpu meter
take note of the cpu spike
--- with one track loaded i'm getting 10-12% cpu spike

now load up 10 empty tracks and move crossfader

---i'm getting cpu spike up to %30

no load 10 more track so you have 20 tracks total
---i'm getting up to 40% cpu spikes


these are all empty tracks in an empty live set
this becomes a major issue when using a full live set
and try to do crossfades.. the cpu meter will spike cause audio glitches and drop outs...

I can confirm a high CPU usage while using the Session view crossfader with an empty set. I'll move the thread to the beta bugs part of the forum.
