when i copy whole arrange and paste
never paste on right place
always 2-4 tracks down

Hi,

Can you give a step by step instruction as how to reproduce that?

Notice that when you select all in arranger and copy, then you have to click in the first track, even if it's a group track, as to paste without shifting things down.

Ok..I just tested it now
got better but still there

I used External audio effect for 1st track for vocal monitoring
and now it pastes on 1 track down

also, can you tell me how can i upload images on this forum?

i have to move my mouse all the way up to paste right place...

problem solve!

but does it has to be this way?

You mean, as I said above? If you select from track one, you'll have to click on track one to paste at the same place, vertically. That way, you can paste somewhere else vertically, if that's what you want to do. And yes, it's always been like that.

Is this case closed?

i always use ctrl + mouse drag to copy and paste...
i never had this on Live 7 thou

Hi,

I do get what you say now. This is a bug! If you select clips on multiple tracks, hold CTRL/Cmd, then grab one of the clips in the selection that is not on the first track in the selection, and then drag horizontally, clips drop vertically offset when releasing the mouse.
