[dds] A mistake in an info-text

Post by posssu » Wed Feb 04, 2009 6:30 pm

In the info text that appears when hovering over the "Threshold/Ratio display" in Multiband dynamics it says:

"Input levels are shown as small yellow bars, while output levels are shown as large orange bars."

This seems to be the other way round, yellow bars are actually the big ones and orange the small ones.

Hi,

Here, the large bars, representing the output levels, are orange, and the little yellow ones, showing the input level, are yellow. Isn't it so for you?

Here, the large bars (the blocks filled with color) are yellow and the small blocks are orange. So the info text tells this just the opposite way. Or otherwise my understanding of small and large is incorrect here, but I consider the bars that take more space on the screen "large".

Actually, I just checked and this is because I have "Default 6" as my skin. Maybe these bars shouldn't take colors from skins, since their colors are tied to the info text. Or otherwise change the info text so that it only refers to "small" and "large" bars.

Hi folks,

Good discussion.

I just removed the mention of color here, in both the infotexts and the manual.

Thanks,
