pitch shifting audio from external source (traktor)
pitch shifting audio from external source (traktor)
i managed to route traktor into ableton live, but this would only be great if i could pitch shift the incoming sound in live (traktor's keylock is horrible).
i guess i can't use the clip's transpose function so i need a VST plugin for that.
i tried quikquak pitchwheel and that also sounds pretty bad.
anyones knows a great vst plugin for pitch shifting? something that would sound really great, like the elastique pro 2.1?:)

try ableton's grain delay.
no feedback, 1ms delay time, full wet.

realtime pitch shifting is a bit tough...
mess with the settings, grain delay can do some magic.

well.. the clip transpose function does it pretty well, and it uses the elastique version 1.1 (in live 7). and the elastique version 2.1 sounds even better (coming in live
.

clip transpose doesn't work when you're routing external audio in...
