Dirty bomb?

Everyone should know that unless you plan on never cleaning up after the explosion you would have to stand in the exposed area for months before the residual and diffused radioactive material could cause any sort of health risk due to radiation. Now a bomb itself is dangerous, and a bomb with shrapnel is even more dangerous, but everyone freaks out over the word 'dirty bombs' like its some nuclear explosion or something. Its not.

Dirty bomb is a myth perpetuated by the media and its only danger outside the actual explosion is the panic that it would cause, and that panic could be put to rest if the media would educate rather than scare people.
