It wouldn't hurt to toss in "like such as" a few times as well.

Nick the Zombie wrote: I appreciate the constructive feedback! You're definitely right, though, my priorities didn't really include going super deep into nesting racks (although I do discuss it in some detail in both of my series). My three biggest priorities with the first series were a) to present, in detail, my technique for sample manipulation, b) talk a lot about grouping parameters, and c) going in depth with complex modulation. I'll certainly be focusing a bit on layering via instrument and drum racks in the next series, but my core priorities will remain the same (but now I'll be focusing on effects manipulation along with using similar techniques from series 1).

I'm glad you found these to be of value, and don't hesitate to email me if you have any questions about what you see.

No worries Nick, I still think the series is great, I'm just a little frustrated right now as to which way to go with my live set, and was just really thinking out loud - you did set the expectations of what each video was about, so don't mind me!!

I definitely look forward to seeing your series in Instrument Racks - quick question about that, if we signed up for the Mega Pack, do we get the new series when it comes or, or is it an additional cost?

I took no offense whatsoever man, I really do appreciate the feedback :) Livesets are a bitch to plan out, that's for sure. Have you seen COSM's video on transferring your material from the studio to a live event? It's honestly the best tutorial that I've seen on the topic, by far. Check it out here if you haven't already: http://vimeo.com/1701545

As for the pricing, the current Mega Pack is Sound Design Series 1 and Slicing and Sampling put together at a discount. Sound Design Series 2 will be a separate package. As I've said in other threads, I spend a lot of time thinking about doing promo discounts, package deals, etc. So stay tuned for that if you're interested!

Nick, your tutorials are excellent. I think they really benefited me because I have gone thru the manuals and put in some work with Live.

Most definitely worth it.

Well done sir!
