Notebook sound cards: what are you guys using?

Post by Lord Riffenstein » Thu Jan 06, 2005 9:11 pm

I'm running Live on a pretty decent Sony Vaio and I bought a Creative SB Audigy-2 ZS card. It seems ok but I suspect there's better solutions. I'm especially interested in these Firewire units with the breakout boxes and half-rack outboard units. What are you guys using and what would you suggest for the best sound/latency/features, etc. for the money? I've ruled out the RME Hammerfall stuff due to cost although those Digiface and Multiface rigs look damn fine.
