[amo] b19 & 20 temporary warp markers vanished ?

Post by f32 » Tue Mar 17, 2009 7:48 pm

did something with the warping completely change since beta 19 ?
i just imported several mp3s and not one warp marker suggestion (the grey ones)
is visible.

i already looked for the long awaited sensitivity slider ...there must be a new switch somewhere
that i just cant find !

Hi,

What do you mean? That preference enabled transient detection? That shouldn't be? Can you write what happened in details, and what happened then when you turned the preference ON?

hello amauri

i draged 14 mp3 files in lives session view and missed the temp warp markers.
live made absolutely no suggestion for placing warp markers anymore.

i disabled the function : create fades on clip edges - then the warp behaviour
was back to normal with the next mp3 file i imported (the ones that where already opened
stayed without markers)

so "create fades on clip edges" was on since i installed beta19.
i cant remember this setting in any preious version of live.

Hi,

This Preference should have nothing to do with Transient detection. It is meant to create short fades at the beginning and end of clips, as to avoid clicks.

Can you do the following: if you remember which files where wrong, locate them on your computer, and rename the corresponding asd file. then drag the file again in Live, does it show transients? Do it again with the Preference set to the other setting, does it show transients?
