[amo] drum racks default sample-simpler patches don't work

I can't get this to work at all
which means everytime i want to build a drum rack with my own sounds
I have to setup velocity, volume, and all that stuff for every sound every time.
please get this working it's driving me a bit nuts.
all my old patches work so thats ok for now
but as you know, when you replace a sound in an old patch you get the default simpler again
so I cant even recycle old patches with new sounds.
and while I'm on the subject of airports.............

that sounds like the same kind of issue as there:

.. which is also reported by you. Let's try keeping things in one thread please. Have you tried the suggestion I made there? Same should go for Simpler.
