what about some automation shape tools to work with rather than just the pencil/pointer?????????????? examples. sine/square/triangle/etc. along with interval selection/maximum/minimum curve points Maz.

Every time I'm shaping a final mix I want this. Acid had this feature almost a decade ago and Cool Edit had envelopes in 1998! From fading parts in to fading a song out the option of different slopes and cross fades would speed the process and improve the sound.

always wanted this too - this one of the unique reasons for which I can use Digital Perfomer sometimes, their shaping tools are really well done.

By the way, why not introduce a 'spray' tool, for random values around a central one ?
We would have a line for this one, and a cloud of points around.

the thing i want the most is bezier curves, but ill settle with any type whatsoever.
