Hi, new to the forum.
Just got myself the vestax vcm 600. Works amazingly with ableton. Only the one problem ive found tho.
When i overwrite the automapping to add my own effects, the buttons dont light up/off. (for instance on the eq kills, or the 8 buttons on the top right).
Is there a way to change that?
Cheers
Dru

Hi there,
do you have activated the REMOTE button for the input and output midi port of the vestax vcm 600?
Check this in the midi/sync tab of Live's preferences.
Best,
Michael

Re: Vestax VCM 600
Hi guys, im trying to set up my VCM without installing the livelite sofware.
Everything seens to work ok except for the channel faders, moving the fader does nothing until you go for max volume then the track jumps from zero db to max. and vica versa. Anyone else seen this.
Im running on MAC with the latest Live 7 version...
Must I install the liveite VCM version to run it properly?
Cheers for the help.
PS yes I've tried to manually midi map the channel faders, and it makes no difference...

Re: Vestax VCM 600
OK, should have not been up late in the evening setting up/
Problem was me forgetting about the fader curve knob for the channel faders pn the front. It was would all the way to left, Which makes the faders jump to full volume, once you reach the top of the fade.
Silly me.
