remember that .txt file that we made to make latency so low when using the emi 2/6...
liveoptions.txt (with AsioSupportProcessNow=1)
well, just wanted to share the info on how to enter it in 2.0 beta...
its almost the same thing.. still go into the ableton 2.0 folder/preferences... but instead of naming the file liveoptions.txt .. just name it options.txt
its as easy as that...
heres the email i got from alex about it:
Hi Neil,
the option itself is the same like before but we changed the file name to be
more flexible to "Options.txt" instead of "LiveOptions.txt".
Rest should be the same like before.
I noticed yesterday that emagic has released new drivers for PC (1.5) and
also for Mac (2.1). They just talk about "internal improvments". I will test
these drivers to see if it changes something.

actually, i've been using my emi, with the new drivers, no problems at all. it seems tho, that my file was already called 'options' rather than 'liveoptions' . . . hmmmm.
i do, however, experience a little quirk when starting live - i get a dialogue box that says:
"The options file[Options.txt] contains an unknown option '-SkipHardDiskId' which will be ignored"
i remember putting this line in, but I forget why i needed to!
has 2.0 overcome the need for this line, or is the warning a bug?
