[5200] Browser window doesn't close on double-click

Post by logman » Thu Feb 05, 2009 5:18 pm

Hello

I'm using Live 8.0b6 on Windows XP SP3.

In live 7, clicking on the beam between the arrangement/session area and the browser window results in closing the browser window. However in this beta, a double-click on the beam has no effect, even though double-clicking on the beam between the clip/device view and arrangement/session does close the clip/device area.

why not use the close icons. easier to hit than the "beams"

It takes longer to move my mouse pointer to the corner of the screen than it take to reach the beams and while the beam is thin, it's a lot longer than the close icons, so all in all I find it much easier to use to close and it's consistent with the way many applications work.

Perhaps I could use the hot keys shortcut, but it's a tricky one to do with one hand.

I allowed myself to use the word beam for a vertical divider, since it's the same kind of thing in this interface.

Hi,

This should be fixed in the latest beta. Please try it.
