I wish of a Beringher FCB50 or something like that, half the current model!
are there any smallish midi controler, within the beringher price range, out there? I intend to put in my guitar pedal board so space is kinda relevant!

my FCB came with this accessory that allowed me to change the configuration of my pedals. If I want to have 8 pedals, 6, or even 2 it takes me a few minutes and voila! It is done.

[edit] y'know, if you don't need an actual pedal, but just footswitches to send notes, you could get a midi drumpad type thingie like the Alesis one and set it on the floor. It is still a little large, but not as heavy as the foot pedals. Also, http://midiboutique.com has a midi pedal that is a single pedal with a lot of programmable settings, and there is a single pedal also by MIDI Solutions.
