I run all my outboard through Live 8 now to give it that special sheen.

Sounding warmer than 7???

I think there wasnt any improvements at all for the audio engine!
It sound the same to me from b2!

Maybe is the update excitement! :mrgreen:

probably is, that or your audio abilities got better and now you know your equipments potential.

What about the new warping algorithms then?
Call me nuts, but to me it sounds different too.

I hate how warm it sounds now! I'm changing skins to Frost as a workaround.

You know what, maybe it is placebo effect but from the first track I imported to Live 8 it immediately sounded warmer to me too.

EDIT: By the way TIm, I don't know if you remember me but this is Nima's friend Nikos Toscani.

Agree with you about the warp sounding different. It's because it works different too... but warp is warp ... you know what i mean

If you turn it off to both 7 & 8 the sound is the same IME(ears)O

Definitely noticed it... the summing is so much warmer... it's almost tubelike

nah - live 1 still has that crunchy old skool vibe i love.
