I need some serious help getting my live set up going for my band! Hope someone has the answers and can explain them in an understandanble way...I run my band's live set from ableton. The set up invloves running the audio backing tracks and visuals at the same time (one file) - in the past I have just run stuff from the arrangement window moving from track to track. I'm more interested in using the session view and scene launch options. I basically want to be able to launch a scene that will trigger my audio and visuals from the arrangment timeline (each scene will correspond to a different track). All the tracks are different bpms so this will be important when triggering. I also want to be able to trigger smaller samples clips at the same time that the back track is playing. Any advice? I hope I'm being clear in my description. people have said to use dummy clips and I know how they work but can;t seem to work out how I can use them to trigger locators on the arrangemenet timeline for specific tracks/visuals! Help!
