New user - gone for Live 7

I'm a soon-to-be first time Live user. I've just ordered Live 7 after reading all the gripes on here about version 8. Also saving myself £100.

Have I done the right thing?

I've only recently progressed from using a 20-year old Atari 1040 so I'm just trying to make life as simple as possible! Can't be dealing with too many bugs.

well, you could also buy Augustus looper 2 with the money you saved. And if you had any interest in Max4Live you could also just go ahead and buy max/msp/jitter right away. Max4Everything, you might say. That's pretty much the sensible man's live8.

Probably a good idea until Ableton releases a few more revisions of 8, and that's just reality, not hating on 8 or Ableton.
