Invalid product ID? Hot chicks!

Post by boska » Mon Apr 06, 2009 9:58 pm

Invalid product ID

OK
....

8O

I get this message, and a template session, when I try to open a specific session I made these past three days, using only L8.... no plug-ins, no rewiring, nothing.... just a really meaningless error message, that won't show up in the manual, or on this forum. Anyone had this one? Know of some sort of troubleshooting thingy where this might show up, preferably with an obvious one-click solution?

thanks

I'm having the same problem for a set that I originally created in Live 7, then brought into Live 8 beta, and now Live 8. No VSTs. The only recent changes I've made since bringing it into Live 8 - I added a Drum Rack (Meaty) and an Impulse (Dub Delay) from the Live 8 Library.

It happened first after I worked on the song for a while, then opened another song. When I opened the first song again, "Invalid Product ID". Then I went back to a previous version of the song, saved it with a new name and into a new folder, Collected and Saved all, and started working on the song again. Later, I opened a different song for a while, and when I went back to the first song "Invalid Product ID" again.

XP SP3

Thanks
