Keeping audio synced after a break without warping

Hey all,


If I have a track with a break somewhere in it that follows either a different time signature or basically no time signature at all, how can I tell live "This warp marker begins a new bar regardless of what beat came before it" so that I don't have to warp the break in order to keep the downbeat correctly in sync with the metronome and other songs?

Afaik there's no easy way to do that, so what's the best workaround?
