This is ridiculous, everybody knows Henke is the ringleader of what you call the "ingenious" faction. The man is a born troublemaker, what with his "nobody needs a vocoder" rants, not to mention all his made-up pre-calculus "explanations" of "panning laws" (like THAT'S a real thing hahahahahahah). Clearly this whole dust-up is an exercise in disinformation and misdirection.

Stop hiding behind your corporate boogeymen and Titbags, Henke!

The sole reason I started coming to this place for non-music related time wasting was after I read my first EvilEvilEvilEvilEvil post.

Come for the answers to your questions, stay for the ridiculousness.

For the record, I used one other alias in all of my time here, "SMOOTH_LOVIN_CYCLOPS" - it was part of a collective joke and it was no secret that it was me, I have even admitted - publicly - it when asked.

Other than that this "harrison.forge" is the only time I have ever used an alias to act like a jerk. That is a lot more than can be said about others here.

With that said, Dom, please spare me your "last warning" bullshit, I've been a member of this forum since 2003 and have never, let me repeat, NEVER caused any trouble here so maybe you can consider changing that to "first and last warning".

Oh, who cares. I've been here longer then anyone. If you are an ass in your first week or an ass in six years it doesn't matter because you got called out on your bullshit and probably lost a full nights sleep in the process.

Lame.

And Dom emailed me once to tell me to back off of someone but at least I did it with my real-fake internet persona and not a fake-fake one.

Dom's actually a really good guy. Kudos to him for calling you out on your childish-shit

I often can't believe how relaxed this forum is. WHich is why it does seem extreme when a mod steps in, because it happens so rarely, but there have been a few bannings from people who could not take the (repeated) warnings, such as Timur and his endless rants about MIDI timing etc.

Anyone who thinks this place is heavy handed should sign on at cubase.net - well, you actually first need to put your dongle activation code in, so that keeps the crackers out of there, they don't allow embedded images or HTML, they lock and delete many threads that are not completely on topic music wise, and they give you warning and then boot you. Needless to say, the forum is a bit on the slow side. But that's how they like it at Steiny, they are in control, you are just an underling and too much dissent or off topic stuff and you are gone.

The Ableton mods have a pretty good balance and I think they do a good job overall.

You're right, Dom is a good guy and yes, I - not it - I was lame.

I've already admitted as much and offered a humble apology to all parties involved - all of which can be read on the first 2 pages of this post.

I am also happy to say they, ie. Tone Deft and Dom, have accepted my apology and there seem to be no ill feelings held, least of all by me.

For the record, I certainly didn't lose any sleep over it. 20 minutes to a half hour of work time, yes, sleep, no.

Now, if you'd be so kind as to STFU.

- Thanks
