EQ Mix Levels etc.

Post by superglue » Fri Apr 10, 2009 3:00 pm

Hello everyone.

Sorry I haven't been around in ages. I've been really busy. Moved to London, got a job... Anyway I've finally got back to making some music again and I would love your opinions on it. I haven't put any EQ on these tracks or compression or any form of mastering. When I listen to them on a sub woofer I realize I definitely need to remove some bass frequencies. I would really appreciate any advice you guys might have regarding anything in the tracks but espescially the mix levels and EQ. If I sent a track to be mastered and pressed would they do all that for me anyway or is it a good idea to do as much as I can myself. Bear In mind I do not have any professional equalizers or compressors. www.myspace.com/hartfordhome

Thanks a lot and all the best..

Hi. Kind of a nice track that first one. Gentle. I couldn't get the 2nd track to play for what ever reason. I'd listen to more of your stuff.

Cheers G. :)

Track one is very nice.

The bassline in track two doesn't sit well with me and it kinda turned me off the track.

Overall I like the relaxed groove you create with your music.

Thanks for sharing and let me know if you decide to make any changes.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I can see what you're saying about the bassline in track two amigo.
