Help Me Crack Justice's Crazy Sound

has anyone experimented with guitar pedals on the synth bass line....IE bass overdrive for their bass line. Automation is really easy as its sitting in front of you and i feel like the sound is pretty awesome.

Yeah, get all sorts of little nuances plugins don't seem to have when you use analogue distortion/fuzz pedals.

i managed to short out my pedal and mkae some awesome sounds that only got better when i side chained them.

ok the "i suck at posting" was a little uncalled for but putting that aside...

Let me answer the sonic academy question this way - I am very much a beginner user when it comes to Live and DAW's in general. I only have about an hour or so a week to play around with Live, so I like to maximize that time. So for me, yes it's worth it because I can learn a lot of things that I just don't have time to "figure out" for myself.

Your situation may be different. Make no mistake - it's really expensive, but it's a trade off of time vs money.
