what could be more nonsensical than tweaking on a box of knobs for 5 minutes when you're supposed to be at work? how bout tweaking on a box for 30 minutes and recording 5 of it to share for your buddies online.

it's just noodling on my halfdone modular.
Ah, sweet pointless science-fiction nonsense ^^ Show it to your boss :)

another one in the series of livesets that start with one clip with one note, then some automation, arpeggiators etc.

I've definitely gotten to the point of too much early censoring, so I'm gonna try to post here more often.

Here's something I did a couple months ago. Probably 5 hours of work but very little actual thought about what I was doing.

Me messing around with Live 8 tonight. This was so horrible but interesting at the same time, that I thought I should post it here. I'm in love with the new Operator. It's just crazy.

It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.

Here's a spoof alias I created a while back with tracks made in 10-15 mins for the craic. His track 'wingers' got a lotta laughs on local messageboards.

I made this live set in L8, using only library sounds and the free kickbank live pack from puremagnetik, called Arrhytmea.
It's an abstract, semi generative set via follow actions, clip modulations and loop settings, all polyrhytmic in nature, everything is set to odd loop lenghts.

The live set is shared via the Share functionality, if you want to check it out. If you do, please tell me if it opens up ok. Cpu intensive though.

Version 2 of the above mentioned live set, i fine tuned the follow actions to give a more dynamic result, and rendered almost 9 minutes of it, if you can stand that! :D

Ok, so I probably put in slightly too much effort for it to count as "nonsense", but what the heck. Ida, Karoline and I present:
